About Eva
Eva Kirk
Secretary
Though not a native Corinthian, Eva spent most of her years in Corinth, graduating from Corinth High School in 1974. Afterward, she attended Blue Mountain Christian University (BMCU), where her husband Ray proposed the first day they met.
After her children had grown up, Eva returned to BMCU, graduated with her middle child, and then attended the University of Mississippi to receive degrees in education. Eva retired after an 18-year teaching career in Belmont, Mississippi.
After 49 years of marriage and serving in churches in five states, Ray and Eva have three children and five grandchildren living in Texas. Retiring in Corinth opened the door for volunteer work with single moms and their children. Eva soon saw the urgent need for and the value of a residence like Home of El Roi, where women can gain independence and confidence to create a home built on the principles of faith.
